God Does Exist

God Does Exist

Reincarnation is as cruel a process as evolution. God is not part of both of these theories that have no evidence. Even mans sufferings are evidence of Gods existence. Besides you don’t have to reincarnate as a human. Plus, no one has been able to purify their minds on their own even if they had several lifetimes. Jesus had a pure mind and what did they do to Jesus? They hated Him, plotted to kill Him, and ultimately did kill Jesus.

If God has given us the ability to purify our minds; thus leading to a joyous life through reincarnation why has that never happened throughout human history? Mankind keeps getting worse!

The norm of God is to allow human suffering so perhaps He can save some. Those who God has saved take joy in His salvation knowing He did not have to save anyone. They can tell the unsaved from the saved with their vain philosophies as they explain away the God as He reveals Himself in the Bible.

The unsaved are not spiritual and can’t receive things of the spirit. God is a Spirit and only those God He has given His Holy Spirit can discern God for He is spiritually discerned. If God has given you His Holy Spirit you can see the evidence of His existence in nature and the heavens.

If you reject the Bible you reject God and exalt the vain philosophies of man over Gods.

The Heart of God Changes the Heart of Man

The Heart of God Changes the Heart of Man
From Scripture

When reconciling the New Covenant with the Old Covenant we find in both cases God is a forgiving God to His people remembering their sins no more.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned

But he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16-18 (KJV)

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus, for as many of you as have been baptized into Christ, have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Gal 3:26-29 (KJV)

Under the New Covenant

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? 1 Corinthians 6:9 (KJV)

Fornicators (male prostitute, whoremonger), nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (unmanly), nor abusers of themselves with mankind (sodomite), nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (KJV)

If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. 1 John 1:6-10 (KJV)

And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. Heb 8:11-13 (KJV)

Under the Old Covenant

They say, if a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? Shall not that land be greatly polluted?

But thou hast played the harlot (the Jewish people being regarded as the spouse of Jehovah) with many lovers, saith the Lord. Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms (adultery, i.e. (figurative) infidelity, idolatry ) and with thy wickedness. And thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed. Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldest.

The Lord said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding (apostasy :- backsliding, turning away) Israel hath done? She hath played the harlot. And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also. And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.

Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord; and  I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the Lord, and I will not keep anger for ever. Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the Lord.

Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion: And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.  Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.
Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the Lord.

A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten the Lord their God. Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings.

Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the Lord our God. Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the Lord our God is the salvation of Israel. For shame hath devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.

We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against the Lord our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God.

Jeremiah 3:1-25 (KJV)

Forgive yourself

Forgive yourself.

Chances are, the people you offended
Have forgotten about it,
The people you know now
Never knew about it,
And the people you will know
Won’t know about it.

Stop beating yourself up over things
You can’t control or change.
God by the blood of Jesus Christ
Has already forgiven you.

CAIN NOR HIS OFFERING WAS ACCEPTABLE TO GOD

CAIN NOR HIS OFFERING WAS ACCEPTABLE TO GOD

As it is told in Genesis chapter four

Cain was a tiller of the ground, and

Abel was a keeper of sheep.

And

in the process of time...

What we see here is that a process is taking place.
A process is gradual changes that lead toward a particular condition, or event traceable to a cause. The question is begging, what event was to take place at this particular point in time, that God causes to be? The answer being, Cain and Abel were to be determined if they were acceptable to the LORD. What was the determining factor by which they were to be judged? The offerings they brought unto Him.

Cain's offering was from the fruit of the ground.
Abel's offering was of the firstlings of his flock and the fat thereof. God had no respect for Cain or his offering. But God had respect for Abel and his offering.

Why was this the case?

First of all, let's examine the acceptable offering, then the unacceptable offering. Abel offered the firstlings of his flock and the fat thereof. It is obvious to me that in the process of time, Abel spent time with the LORD. Able knew to be pleasing in his sight he had to know what type of offering was required. He had to be instructed.

The firstling is the first of a class or kind, or the first produce or result of something. So Abel offered the first of his existing or newborn sheep. And not only that but he knew to offer the fat thereof. He knew what to offer, and in what manner the offering should be made.

On the other hand, Cain offered from the fruit of the ground. Now It doesn't take a stretch of the imagination to know what that could possibly mean. We do know it was not acceptable.

There is an acceptable offering that can be made from the fruit of the ground. It is called firstfruits. Firstfruits are the earliest gathered fruits offered to God in acknowledgment of the gift of fruitfulness. That would be the best of the best. Cain's offering was not referred to as firstfruits. So Cain did not acknowledge God and the best gift were not bestowed upon him. This is rebellion.

Why did Abel obey God and Cain did not? As you read on you will see that Cain never does.

God did not respect or have any appreciation for Cain's offering or him. The opposite of respect is the word abhors or despise. God abhorred his offering and him. God was not pleased at all. God was indignant, meaning He was angry because Cain was unfair, mean, outrageous or shameful. He and his offering was found not be to worthy of God's notice or consideration.

Cain in turn became intensely angry, highly incensed, and wrathful towards God, and his countenance fell. Now keep in mind this is God he is before. This was not a wise man for he did not fear the LORD. God instructed him that if he does well he will be accepted. He also told him that if he does not do well sin or perhaps Satan is at his door desiring him. He then instructs Cain to rule over sin if this happens.

So what does Cain do? He allows sin to rule over him. Cain talked with Abel, rose up against him, and killed his brother. So Cain was in rebellion against God and a murderer at this point.

The LORD confronted Cain once again. He asked him where is his brother Abel. Here we have Cain embattled once more against the all knowing LORD. What does Cain do? He lies to God! He said he did not know where his brother Abel was. He did not confess his sin. So here we have in order, Cain was rebellious, a murderer, and a liar. To top if off he tried to be evasive, deceptive, high minded, and acted as if he was superior to God.

OK, let me make it plain, Cain got smart with God.
He said to the LORD, "Am I my brother’s keeper?"
And here he is guilty as sin. So God curses Cain.
So what does Cain do? Does he repent? No. He complains about his punishment. The only time he does what God tells him to do is when God tells him to leave town, and only after God promises that he would not be killed because of what he did to Abel!

If you study your Bible you will find that Satan is described like that. You can see by this dialog that Cain's relationship with God is just the opposite of Abel's. If you are still not convinced, read the last two verses of the chapter, and you will find out more about the nature of Abel.

Adam and Eve had another son and they named him Seth. He was like Abel, appointed of God. She also bore a son they named Enos. All three of these men were leaders and men of God. Although Abel was killed, Seth and Enos lived on, and then men began to call upon the name of the LORD.

Cain represents the unsaved person described in Romans Chapter 3. They do not seek after God, they do not desire the things of God, they reject Him. Their father is the devil and they act like him. Abel represents the person who has received the gift of salvation, is now able to do the will of God who is his Father, and in the process of time being made perfect.

Cain represents the seed of the serpent whereby Abel represents the seed of the woman.

God said there would be enmity between the two.

THIS IS IT! THE HOUSE OF THE LORD

From my book - I like To Study

THIS IS IT!

THE HOUSE OF THE LORD

In 1 Chronicles 17, David was sitting around his house talking to Nathan the prophet. He said to him he dwells in a house made of wood, but the ark of the covenant of the LORD remains in a tent. David was not happy about that. Nathan replied to David, do all that is in your heart for God is with you.

Later that night, God spoke to Nathan and told him to tell David that he would not build God a house to dwell in. However God would build him a house to live in. And that one of his sons will build God a house to dwell in. After Nathan spoke these and other things to him David sat before the LORD. He humbled himself and gave God glory, honor, and praises for what God has done and will do for Israel and his house. David asked God for many blessings.

In 1 Chronicles 21, it says that Satan stood up against Israel and provoked David to number them. Joab a general in David's army ask him why he would do this trespass against Israel? David prevailed anyway and Joab was instructed to do so, but Joab did not number Levi and Benjamin for what David was doing was abominable to him.

God smote Israel because He was displeased with this thing. And David said unto God, I have sinned greatly because I have done this thing: but now, I beseech thee, do away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.

God sent Gad David's seer/prophet to tell him he had to choose one of three things that God would do unto him. David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let me fall now into the hand of the LORD; for great are His mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man. So the LORD sent pestilence upon Israel, and an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it, and 70,000 men fell.

Then angel of the LORD commanded Gad to say to David to set up an altar unto the LORD in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite. David bought the land, built the altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt and peace offerings. He then called upon the LORD who answered him by fire from heaven upon the altar of burnt offering.

When David saw that the LORD answered him there he said this is the house of the LORD. He began to gather together in abundance that which was needed to build the house of the LORD. And God told him that his son Solomon would be king and would build his house. In 2 Chronicles 3:1 we find that Solomon built the Temple on this very spot that God answered David's burnt offering, the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

It is a terrible thing what David, and Israel had to suffer through. But through it all God identified where He wanted a house built unto Him, and He revealed to David the details of how it should be built and furnished. David spent the rest of his life acquiring all that was needed, and Solomon built it.

This is yet another example of how God uses sin or a trespass in this case to accomplish His purposes.
Satan rose up against Israel and provoked or angered
David. David did what was right in his heart as Nathan the prophet instructed him to do. Joab tried to convince David to do otherwise which would have been the wrong thing to do. David did not waver.

God was displeased with this thing. What does that mean ?

David said he had sinned greatly because he had done this "thing." Because of this "thing" God therefore smote Israel.

But after all was said and done by God, the angel, Joab, Gad, and himself, David reflected on what he talked to Nathan about in the beginning. David probably let out a big, "Aha! This is the house of the LORD!" God had let him know that God would build his house, and identified where God wanted His house built.

And God let David know through this "thing." And now David knew what this thing was all about. God had heard him and answered him. And Scripture reveals that God was displeased with this "thing." such are the mystery's of God when we have to do things he is displeased with in order to accomplish his will, when things happen to us in order to accomplish his will.

Maybe God's displeasure was because He had to do this thing and other things involving sin, because sin had entered the world. And sin had to enter the world in order for God to get a people He could call his own. He loved us so much even before He created us. And He knew that it would take even His displeasure. It's like when He said that He desires that no man would perish and end up in Hell. But never-the-less a great multitude will. This "thing" is to Gods displeasure as well. God the Father and God the Son suffered so much for us.

This story is almost like the story of Job where
Satan is allowed to do just so much, Job hangs in there, apologizes for his sin to the LORD because he is only human and fallible, and the LORD rewards him greatly. It was the same with David. But unlike Job, David did not question God. God did not have to say to David, "Who are you to advise Me! Where were you before the world was created?"

God used both Job and David for His purposes, identified their iniquities, and they both owned up to them. God got all the glory in both cases. And in both cases we learn that the only real value we have is to serve God's purposes. God say's to Satan, "Have you considered my son or daughter ..."

Thank God for the eternal destiny He has secured for us in Jesus Christ before the foundation of the world.
